Adult Lesson FAQ: What is PunchPass?

PunchPass is a cloud-based Calendar Reservation System we use to coordinate our Golf School. The Lesson Calendar is the starting point for every reservation. If you want to join a class, click on the Class and follow the prompts.

As an added feature, PunchPass provides a waiting list for every Class. From time to time, participants cancel, and if you are on the waiting list for a class, you will be automatically registered and notified.

Please Note: This Calendar includes all of the classes offered in our Golf School. To access your specific Class, use the “Location” drop-down to show only your Class Type.

Adult Lesson FAQ: How do I make a reservation?

  1. Sign in to your PunchPass account. If you do not have an account, follow the prompts for creating a new account.
  2. Inside the account, select the Calendar heading on the navigation bar.
  3. Using the drop-down menu (Location), select the Class Type you require.
  4. Click on the date for the Class in which you intend to register
  5. If you already have a Pass for this Class, your registration will complete; otherwise, the system will ask you to purchase the correct pass to complete the registration process. 

Adult Lesson FAQ: Do I require an account to make a reservation?

Yes. To participate in any Class at Mayfield, you must have an account in our PuchPass system.

Adult Lesson FAQ: I have a reservation, but do not have passes, what do I do?

If you already have a reservation and require passes, the final step is straightforward: log-in to your PunchPass account and purchase the correct pass. Yes, it just that easy. The Passes for each Class are automatically applied to each reservation once the coach takes attendance.

Adult Lesson FAQ: Do I have to sign up for an entire series?

Although we prefer that participants come to regular sessions, participants don’t need to sign up for an entire series. Hopefully, if we do our job correctly, we will demonstrate that frequent small changes have the most significant impact on your ability to acquire Golf Skills.

Adult Lesson FAQ: I have a standing reservation for a Class. If I am unable to attend a Class, what do I do?

Two days before each Class, the PunchPass system sends an appointment reminder. If you are unable to attend the scheduled Class, please click on the cancel button in the email–PunchPass will automatically cancel your reservation and notify your Coach.

Adult Lesson FAQ: How can I purchase Passes for my partner or spouse and me?

Unfortunately, PunchPass is not completely savvy. PunchPass does not allow pass sharing (unlike the LightSpeed Program we use for Golf Passes). Therefore, you must do one of two things:

  1. Purchase passes separately for you and you spouse (two accounts)
  2. Please email me directly (, and I can coordinate an invoice and add the passes manually to each account.

Adult Lesson FAQ: I have a late cancellation due to an emergency, will I be charged for my reservation?

In the event of a late cancellation, please email me directly ( We will never charge for a Class when unforeseen emergencies occur.

Adult Lesson FAQ: Do my I require additional PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)?

To be on the safe side, I require that every participant bring sanitizer and a facial mask to each session.  Peel Health Requires that everyone wear a Face mask when entering the building to use the washroom.

Adult Lesson FAQ: Where do I check-in for my Golf Lesson?

Participants must check in at the reception in the clubhouse. The reception will distribute lesson tags, Power Cart Waivers, accept payment, and take attendance.

Adult Lesson FAQ: How do you accommodate a statutory Holiday?

Since some weekly session naturally fall on statutory holidays.  Regrettably, we do not coach on holidays.  Therefore, an additional class is added on the backend of the program. 

Please consult the Class calendar for specific dates and times.

Adult Lesson FAQ: What happens if the forecast calls for rain?

If the forecast calls for rain, we will make a reasonable decision to cancel your appointment two hours prior. In the event of a cancellation, we will send a notification directly from PunchPass.

Adult Lesson FAQ: I am a new Golfer. What equipment should I have?

Complete sets are not necessary, especially for new golfers.  Consider the following suggested equipment needs:


    • Golf Bag
    • Irons: 6, 8, PW & SW or 5, 7, 9, PW & SW, 
    • 5 Hybrid and five wood 
    • High Loft Driver: 12 – 15 degrees
    • Putter
