Start your kids in the game of a lifetime

At Mayfield Golf Club juniors are always welcome and we take great pride in our junior program. We realize that juniors are the seeds that will help us to grow the game for the future.

To do this, we’ve developed an exciting program to help kids start off by learning the basics needed for a fun day on the course and to help develop as young athletes and good citizens. After all, golf is a place for life lessons like honesty, respect, integrity, sportsmanship and etiquette.

We offer lessons and clinics for all ages and skill levels, beginning in April and running through the first week of September. And to keep things simple, our students are grouped by age.

Dedicated to player development

We’ve designed the program to give all juniors a good groundwork in the game of golf and with a focus on keeping it fun! The program is action packed from the start and we aim to cover the areas that are essential for the enjoyment of golf and the development of golf related skills.

Program highlights include: the full swing, a proper stance and grip, putting, chipping and pitching, how to practice as well as the rules of golf. We start with instruction on the range to allow kids the chance to improve their ball striking before we move to the course where they can learn to apply these skills and learn the etiquette of the game.

The Mayfield Junior Program runs from May through September for a cost of $185 per student.
