Hole 1
TEES: Red 119 yards | White 148 yards | Blue 189 yards
A challenging opening hole with out-of-bounds down the left-hand side on this long par 3. Make sure to take an extra club as the hole plays slightly uphill. Par is an excellent score.
Hole 2
TEES: Red 257 yards | White 338 yards | Blue 349 yards
The second hole is tricky. The fairway is divided by a small pond that is definitely reachable off the tee as it is only 250 yards to the front edge. The left side of the fairway is the smart choice for your tee shot to leave a short iron approach into the green.
Hole 3
TEES: Red 316 yards | White 388 yards | Blue 413 yards
The toughest par 4 on the Red Course, the third hole requires a tee shot down the right side of the fairway in order to give yourself an open look at a downhill second shot. For the longer hitters, going over the left corner of this slight dogleg can turn this hole into a birdie opportunity.
Hole 4
TEES: Red 284 yards | White 322 yards | Blue 341 yards
This short dogleg left has plenty of room off the tee but with out-of-bounds on the right. You’ll need to hit a precise second shot into a small undulating green if you hope to walk off with a birdie.
Hole 5
TEES: Red 218 yards | White 280 yards | Blue 291 yards
This is a bombers dream – a straightaway short par 4. For the brave golfers attempting the green, be cautious of a wayward shot down the right-hand side where out-of-bounds lurks. This tempting birdie hole can turn into a big number quickly with a stray shot.
Hole 6
TEES: Red 85 yards | White 165 yards | Blue 189 yards
An accurate tee shot is a must on this medium length par 3. A proper miss is short, leaving an uphill pitch with no obstacles.
Hole 7
TEES: Red 424 yards | White 469 yards | Blue 515 yards
The first par 5 on the Red Course requires a decision off the tee and dictates how you’ll play the hole. For the short hitter, three well placed shots can lead to a birdie opportunity. Longer hitters can hit their tee shots down the right side of the fairway and open up the green for their approach shot and a possible eagle chance.
Hole 8
TEES: Red 269 yards | White 275 yards | Blue 287 yards
The last of the Red Course’s short par 4s, this hole is a good birdie opportunity for everyone but be wary of the Out-of-bounds runs down the left-hand side of the hole. The green can be challenged from the tee for the longer hitters or with a sharp wedge shot from those laying up with a well placed tee shot down the right middle of the fairway, opening up the entire green.
Hole 9
TEES: Red 389 yards | White 469 yards | Blue 490 yards
The closing hole offers a challenge for everyone but birdies and better are available with a few well struck shots. Long hitters beware: a layup off the tee is a must to a must to avoid the drainage ditch that runs across the end of the fairway at the bottom of the hill. Second shot layups require a precise shot to carry the first ditch but not roll into the second creek. The green is elevated, so approach shots must be on target.
Hole 1
TEES: Red 411 yards | White 459 yards | Blue 469 yards
This great opening hole is a short par 5 that requires a tee shot down the left middle of the fairway to avoid the trees and environmental area that guard the right side. Long hitters have a good chance at getting their round off to a great start with an eagle while three struck shots give shorter hitters a possible birdie.
Hole 2
TEES: Red 95 yards | White 102 yards | Blue 113 yards
Be cautious on this short “easy looking” par 3 which is flanked by a large bunker on the right of the green, trees down the right-hand side of the hole and swirling winds. An accurate tee shot is required to hit the smallest green on the course. The proper miss is short right, leaving and uphill chip shot – missing long and left almost guarantees you a big number.
Hole 3
TEES: Red 365 yards | White 386 yards | Blue 402 yards
Swing away on this wideopen long par 4 and favour the right-hand side of the fairway to open up a green that angles away. This hole requires a precise second shot to a well guarded green.
Hole 4
TEES: Red 271 yards | White 329 yards | Blue 341 yards
This hole requires accuracy over distance with a tee shot played down the left middle approximately 230 yards off the tee to leave a short approach into the green. For those brave enough to challenge this short dogleg right, be sure to miss left because a miss in the trees leaves a difficult second shot.
Hole 5
TEES: Red 96 yards | White 180 yards | Blue 198 yards
A very challenging par 3, the fifth hole plays slightly downhill but usually into the wind. A miss short left is your best chance for an up-and-down.
Hole 6
TEES: Red 292 yards | White 301 yards | Blue 323 yards
A great short par 4, the sixth hole has many different ways to play it – all requiring precise distance control. This short dogleg has many different visual distractions: a pond off the tee, out-of-bounds down the left-hand side and trees right. The best bet off the tee for a sure birdie opportunity is to pick a spot and focus on that place.
Hole 7
TEES: Red 160 yards | White 190 yards | Blue 204 yards
The last of the White Course’s par 3s is the beginning of the toughest finishing stretch on the course. Accuracy is necessary and a safe miss is short and right leaving an uphill chip to the green. Beware the trees on the left and the creek that hides underneath.
Hole 8
TEES: Red 293 yards | White 384 yards | Blue 411 yards
The eighth hole is all about picking the proper target and committing to it while controlling your distance. The evergreen on the far edge of the fairway is the best target leaving a mid to long range iron into the green. The longer hitter can choose to take a more aggressive line but beware a miss long and left that will find the environmental hazard across the fairway. For the really aggressive golfer, taking a line across the pond to the green requires a significant carry in excess of 325 yards.
Hole 9
TEES: Red 342 yards | White 429 yards | Blue 479 yards
The finishing hole on the White Course requires proper course management and is the tightest tee shot you’ll face with trees lining both edges of the hole. Drives must be played down the left middle of the fairway to give you an open look around the dogleg. From here, a second shot can be played between the 100 and 150 yard markers leaving a slightly uphill approach to the green.
Hole 1
TEES: Red 180 yards | White 262 yards | Blue 288 yards
This uphill dogleg right opening hole can be played multiple ways. Regardless of your line, be certain to take an additional club to hit it the distance you want as the tee shot is severely uphill. For the adventurous, drive it at the green. For a more conservative approach, aim at the 100 yard marker and let the not naturally fall right. The next shot is an easy chip to a receptive green.
Hole 2
TEES: Red 325 yards | White 454 yards | Blue 479 yards
The second hole is a devilish par 5. The tee shot here must be played with distance control in mind as the end of the fairway runs out into a wide ditch. From the tee, make sure you pick a club that will leave you a flatter shot from the fairway some 235 yards from a tricky three level green.
Hole 3
TEES: Red 99 yards | White 137 yards | Blue 161 yards
Be certain to pay attention to the wind which serves as the main defense on number three as it could change your club from a wedge to a long iron depending on its direction. Putting can be very hazardous as well on this short, open par 3 can be if the ball is not put in the correct location of the large rolling green.
Hole 4
TEES: Red 420 yards | White 455 yards | Blue 477 yards
This short par 5 is most challenging for short and medium length hitters who should lay up to the end of the fairway, just short of the ditch. From this point it is 275 yards to the green and a good second and third shot will still give you a respectable chance at a birdie. Longer hitters can swing away – tee shots must carry 280 yards to clear the trouble, but eagles and birdies await.
Hole 5
TEES: Red 115 yards | White 148 yards | Blue 176 yards
The first of two very challenging back-to-back par 3s. The best chance of making a par is forgetting the pin and pond short and hitting a shot to the middle of this very narrow green. An accurate approach will leave you two putts for par.
Hole 6
TEES: Red 175 yards | White 199 yards | Blue 199 yards
The last of the par 3s on the Blue Course is easily the most difficult usually playing dead into the wind with a green that runs away from you and on environmental area spreading over the whole right side of the hole. When the wind is blowing hard this can be especially cruel. Your best chance for par is playing to the front left portion of the rolling green, leaving either a straightforward chip or putt at the hole. Three is an excellent score on this hole.
Hole 7
TEES: Red 337 yards | White 455 yards | Blue 517 yards
The longest par 5 on the Blue Course is straightforward and is framed by out-of-bounds on the right-hand side and mounds covered by long grasses on the left. An accurate tee shot must be placed on the left middle of the the fairway – well away from the boundary and leaving an uphill approach to a wide, two level green.
Hole 8
TEES: Red 282 yards | White 291 yards | Blue 301 yards
The eighth hole is the last good birdie opportunity. A short par 4, it plays slightly downhill with out-of-bounds on the right-hand side. A tee shot down the left middle leaves a short approach into a firm, narrow green.
Hole 9
TEES:Red 342 yards | White 429 yards | Blue 479 yards
The finishing hole may look deceptively simple but requires two precise shots. The tee shot must be played down the left middle as the fairway slopes hard to the right and be certain no to fun through the fairway and into the ditch that lies 250 yards from the tee. The approach shot must have exact distance in order to get on the proper tier of the green.
